When Austrian recycling technology leader Lindner Washtech needed a reliable network of metalworking partners, they turned to the Czech Manufacturing Association. What started as a sourcing engagement grew into a long-term strategic collaboration across procurement, communication and production oversight. Leading to over €3 million in annual orders with Czech suppliers.
The Challenge
Lindner Washtech, a global supplier of advanced recycling machinery, sought to expand its supplier base in Central Europe. The goal: find skilled partners capable of meeting demanding technical standards, with clear communication, flexibility, and long-term collaboration potential. Previous supplier searches were time-consuming and risky — with high costs tied to trial-and-error selection, miscommunication, and limited visibility into production reliability.
The Solution
CZECHMA took charge of the entire supplier identification and qualification process — based on clear technical, communication and quality criteria aligned with Lindner’s purchasing and engineering leadership. More than 100 Czech companies were screened. 9 were shortlisted. 7 became long-term partners.

CZECHMA continues to consult on production updates, price negotiations, contract clarifications and quality alignment — always with both customer and suppliers informed and prepared. Annual volumes exceeded €3 million. But the long-term value came from clarity, consistency and shared trust.
